Workplace Chair Massage
On-site chair massage is now being recognized as a beneficial service for increasing employee productivity, and decreasing both workmen compensation and insurance claims due to work related injuries. Professional Massage Therapy does this by identifying and releasing tight, sore muscles of the back, neck, shoulders and arms. These muscles are under constant demand from prolonged repetitive movements, poor posture and technique leading to conditions such as neck and back strains, carpal tunnel, tension headaches, and potential decrease in neuromuscular response .

Most jobs today require prolonged time in front of a computer. During this time specific muscles are continually engaging becoming chronically tight, restricting blood flow to the area. This leads to a condition called Repetitive Strain Injury. The result is damage to muscles, tendons, and nerves of the neck, back, shoulders, forearms, and hands, which causes pain, weakness, numbness, and potentially lead to impairment of motor control decreasing productivity and increasing employee absentees and workman comp claims.

Licensed and Insured
Effective Muscle Therapy provides only professional Massage Therapists who are PA licensed and/or board certified and insured (all therapists are required
to provide proof of license and insurance). Each therapist has 600+ classroom hours of anatomy and physiology with additional training in repetitive strain injuries and postural corrective strategies.

How We Work
Every therapist will arrive a half hour before requested time to set up and discuss any additional concerns by company staff. Chair massage can range from 5-45 minutes and can be scheduled during employee breaks, lunch hours or the time dedicated by a company. Employees remain clothed during massage to allow for shorter turn around time, more relaxed atmosphere, and helps people unfamiliar with massage become less apprehensive and more open to its vast therapeutic benefits.
